Worship and Activities
The location of the New Life Baptist church is right on the High Street in Kings Heath, next door to InShops. Not only is it used for the church activities on a Sunday and throughout the week but we also hire out halls and rooms to the community.
Church based activities range from family worship and childrens’ and youth groups on a Sunday to various other midweek activities.
We have a Girl Guide group and a Boys Brigade. 2006 was the 100th Anniversary of the 6th Birmingham Boys Brigade group at New Life Baptist Church.
There are other groups for youth and children as announced.
Our Vision
At the heart of our purpose as a church is a desire to touch the community for good. Jesus said “come to me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”, and we believe that means all in Kings Heath.
We live in an increasingly insecure world and we believe that getting back to Godly values is essential for our survival as a community and a nation.
An invitation to you
If we were to claim to be any better than other people we would be fooling ourselves and living a lie. The fact is that we are just ordinary people to whom God, in his grace, has shown himself to in the person of Jesus Christ. We wouldn’t even claim to know it all but admit that we are on a journey of faith and trust in God.
God invites every person on this earth to have life in him and that’s why we’re inviting you to come and seek him together with us.
Our Mission

To grow spiritually – Being a Christian means we don’t stand still but go on a journey during which we learn and grow.

To care sacrificially – In an uncaring world we need to look to the needs of the community around us through the love of Jesus.
- To pray persistently – Our nation is spiritually poverty stricken and is in desparate need of our prayers every day.
